Fukashi Miyama’s painting MARIAGE, printed on the back cover of a brochure which is filed in this magazine, is not just any painting. It enables you to access to the gallery map for Xmas Art Festa by reading the painting with a mobile camera.

Once you loose you way to the gallery you wanted to go, read the printed image of the painting with your mobile camera and you can access to the gallery list on the internet, then you can view the detailed map by clicking the gallery’s name. Not only people enjoy this painting as an art piece, but also a door to the gallery map on the internet. Shortly, Logo Q is beautifully coloured version of usual black-and-white QR Code. As the principle is exactly the same, the colours applied are adjusted to be recognised as either black or white.
Although Logo Q is a registered trademark of a company, they exceptionally allow Miyama, who comes up with this idea at the same time and work on it, to paint because this is art. Logo Q is basically produced using computer, but Miyama paint it by hand. Can you imagine how long it takes? He seems to be very the artist since he dares to do. In any way, simply enjoy Xmas Art Festa with the multipurpose (?) painting, with which you can both appreciate his art work and ask the way. But, some model of mobile may not read the code because the painting is made by hand. Even though it doesn’t likely happen, please excuse it as am art pieace.
